Countdown To Zero featuring Rullian will be performed May 12 at Studio in Redlands. Countdown 2 Zero” is a retro 1950's Sci-Fi music driven movie written and directed by Robert Diaz LeRoy and scored by the band Rullian. The live performance offers the audience a remarkable one-of-a-kind film going experience. Rullian will perform the score live as the film plays. Tickets are limited.
Rullian's two performances of Countdown To Zero at Studio in Redlands were a success thanks to the combined efforts of Maria Baglien, Robert LeRoy and many other folks. We may have the opportunity to perform the movie at a bigger venue sometime in 2012.
The two shows were recorded live so expect a live album to be released soon. A new studio album is in the works as well.
Until then, Rullian's bluesier alternate-universe classic-rock-loving brother "Smoking Gun" will be playing multiple shows during the holidays (including a show at Fender Museum in Corona).

Hello all! Long time no update I know. Life kind of took over. We've had some bad luck with a few of our members' health. Loke was in a bad automobile accident, The Director had to have emergency surgery and The Manchurian Man's hair transplant didn't quite work out as planned but rest assured - we're all getting better. We're all quiet thankful that none of the problems were serious.
We're all done mixing our latest CD - the soundtrack to our sci-fi extravaganza "Countdown To Zero" and the CD as well as the movie will be out soon. We hope to play more shows with the movie as soon as possible.
Our first all acoustic show is coming up on Dec 4 at 5 pm at Augies coffeehouse in Redlands. We're helping our friend Steve Bielak celebrate his art opening. Come out and join us.

Saw the John Jorgenson Quintet at The Performance Loft Friday night, Saturday recorded at LoFi and performed at Angels Crossroads and today we're back at LoFi. We've re-arranged and recorded Bumbling Villain and Proper Stella and added a new song by The Director called "Kyrie." These new versions will be in the final soundtrack for "Countdown To Zero." We're also mixing down some live recordings from our gig at Abiquas for a CD.
Rullian and "Countdown To Zero" director Robert LeRoy will be in the studio all weekend recording some new songs for the final version of CTZ as well as filming extra footage for a potential DVD release. We're also playing Saturday evening at Angels Roadhouse in Yucaipa. We start at 7:30 as openers for the "Rock and Roll All-Stars" featuring ex-members of Warrant, Love/Hate and other 80s-era metal bands. Somewhere in the middle of all that, I'll start working on the mix of our live recording from the pastry show at Abiqua's a few weekends ago. Good times

Rullian's Listening Party at Abiquas was a blast. Wonderful people, wonderful food, loud music (ahem), and great times. LaDean took a lot of shots so we'll be posting those soon. Very special thanks to our hosts Fred, Wendy, Dru and Garrett Casteel. They put together an amazing event with the most incredible food (Chef Dru is a star in the making everyone-we hope everyone had a chance to sample his desserts). It was truly a perfect evening.
